[How to tie the Handy knot]
Step 1: Arrange the cord so the top is short and the bottom is long; the short end should be about 50 cm
Step 2: Leave 10 cm on the left and hold it in place with your left hand
Step 3: Pass the short end under the long cord
Step 4: Make a loop about 5 cm across and bring the cords together at the 10 cm point you left
Step 5: Two cords on the left, three on the right
Step 6: Working from left to right, wrap 4 to 5 turns
Step 7: Pass the tail through the hole from the outside in
Step 8: Hold the tail with your right hand and the upper-left cord with your left hand, then pull tight at the same time
Smooth out the cord and your slip knot is done!
